A 15 minute residential walk will take you to a beautiful bluff overlooking Shilshole Marina, Puget Sound, Golden Gardens Beach and the Olympic mountains.  Downtown Historic Ballard is a mile south as is the Hiram M Chittenden Locks. Ballard, once predominantly Scandinavian in culture, is now full of upscale and eclectic shops, restaurants, art galleries and the Majestic Bay Movie Theater.
